REACHING YOUNG PEOPLE IN MIAMI & BROWARD

Youth For Christ reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to prayer and the Word of God, passion for sharing the love of Christ and commitment to social involvement.

Our Mission

Our Vision

TO SHARE THE HOPE OF JESUS

As part of the body of Christ, our vision is to see every young person, in every people group, in every nation, have the opportunity to make an informed decision to be a follower of Jesus Christ and become part of a local church.

OUR STORY

billy_graham.jpg

It started in 1944.In the middle of World War II, a group of young ministers began holding rallies across the United States with one unshakeable conviction: young people matter, and they deserve to hear the hope of Jesus. One of those ministers was a 25-year-old named Billy Graham — Youth for Christ's first full-time staff member.

What began as a movement became a mission. Four years later, in 1948, that mission took root right here in South Florida.

For over 75 years, Youth for Christ Miami & Broward has been showing up for the young people of this region — in schools, detention centers, neighborhoods, and everywhere in between. The faces have changed. The culture has changed. But the belief that drove Billy Graham onto those stages in 1944 hasn't moved an inch.

Every teenager deserves to be seen. Every story deserves a chance. That's still why we're here.

77 YEARS SERVING MIAMI-DADE & BROWARD

Since 1948, we have shown up for the young people of South Florida — not because it was easy, but because they are worth it.

WHERE WE GO

We don't wait for young people to find us. We go to them.
In public schools and on campuses. In juvenile detention centers. In neighborhoods that get overlooked.
In after-school centers where a kid finally has somewhere safe to land. Wherever a young person is navigating one of life's most pivotal moments — that's where YFC shows up.
