About Us

Founded in 1948, Youth for Christ Miami and Broward, has proven programs that encourage teens to grow in all areas of their lives: academically, mentally, physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually. With a focus on serving our most vulnerable communities, we do character-building activities that instill integrity, honesty, respect and compassion in order to help our youth become productive citizens now and for the long-term. Our clubs build healthy relationships and help young people make good choices, establish a solid foundation for life, and positively impact their communities.

By partnering with local churches, schools, and community organizations, Youth for Christ serves over 4,500 at-risk teens annually. Whether it be in the juvenile detention centers, public schools or our own after-school centers, we are building bright and beautiful futures for our youth.

Our Programs

Youth for Christ Miami & Broward (YFC) provides free educational and outreach programs that are inclusive and accessible to all children and youth throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Through its programs, YFC seeks to provide an environment for positive youth development, thereby enabling these students to reach their full potential in life. There are four programs under the umbrella of Miami YFC: Campus Life, Catalyst Hip-Hop, Juvenile Justice Outreach, and City Life KIX. YFC programs effectively engage children and youth of all ages and all social, religious, cultural, and economic backgrounds. These programs are designed to bring wholeness and hope to our community's young people.

CAMPUS LIFE

Middle & High School Clubs

partner with churches and other faith-based organizations to provide a fun, social environment where middle and high school students consider God's great love for them and how it impacts their relationships, decisions and self-worth.

CATALYST

Hip-Hop Outreach Programs

offers Bible-based programs and Christian mentoring to arrested, abused and at-risk youth living in residential facilities helping them build a firm foundation for life through mentorship, life skills, community and faith. CITY LIFE KIX

After-School Programs

shares the love of Christ with youth & families, while also providing a safe place for young people to learn & grow in the Gospel. "Doing life" with kids & empowering them to change their community for Christ is key to our mission. We want to reach a critical mass of indigenous leaders who stay in, give back to, and transform their neighborhood.

CLOUD LIFE

Meeting kids where they spend time - online.

This ministry creates and implements fun, educational and engaging content to help reach and minister to our youth online. This is done through texts, social media and other digital formats where our youth are spending so much of their time and energy.

OFFICE MINISTRY

There are so many ways to help support our youth.

This ministry provides support in all areas. They volunteer at ministry sites, make copies of Bible studies, call repairmen, assist with event planning, update insurance information, apply for grants, keep track of donors and do everything under the sun for each outreach.

Service Area

In additiion to being available to our youth 7 days a week from anywhere they are through our online ministry, Cloud Life, youth can join our in-person clubs at these locations.
