Homestead Hospital 5K Walk/Run for Wellness

MiamiYFC is partnering with Homestead Hospital for their 5K walk/run. We have committed to bring as many people this year in hopes of raising awareness to the hospital and fund. In the future we can use this as a great opportunity for funding MiamiYFC and partner with other local organizations.

Dear Friends,

We took 20 Campus Life students away from their chaotic lives in Miami with two family-style R.V.’s and then stayed in cabins near a beautiful river in the heart of the Smoky mountains!  Every day, each student’s confidence was built with the physical challenges and their hearts and minds were opened as they saw God clearly in nature.
 
Dariel, from the Little Havana Institute, began the trip listening to his IPOD, and not talking much at all.  He had never been out of Miami, so seeing his face light up with every new discovery was inspiring!  As a football player, he worked hard on the trail, ropes course, and white-water rafting, but what was most impressive was how intently he listened to the leaders' and  students' testimonies at night.

Project Serve Missions Trip

Horse Haven Ranch Ministries, Grand Rapids, MI

We are going to the country to help with barn repairs, fencing and painting for Horse Haven Ranch Ministries, a non-profit Christian Outreach. This trip is open for students, adults, parents and children... everyone can help. We still have spots open for you to come with us!

Horse Haven Ranch Ministries was founded in 2005 by Executive Director, Nancy Goodrich, and her two daughters, Ruthann and Rachel, then ages 13 and 15. God used horses to heal them emotionally in their younger years after experiencing the loss of their Daddy to cancer.
